Our Aims:

  • To encourage children to make self-directed and guided choices, work in groups as well as independently and develop learning skills through practical experiences of basic problem solving, reasoning and questioning.
  • To promote an awareness of the importance of health and fitness, through a balanced program of physical activity.
  • To foster the well being, self-esteem, personal development and self-confidence of the children and teach them to form positive relationships, developing care and respect for themselves, others and their environment.
  • To provide opportunities for communication, where parents and teachers can exchange and discuss information concerning their child’s development, always working in partnership to give each child the optimal school experience.

Milestones Programmes:

Our First Steps Programme is for toddlers who are ready to attend school independently. There is a gradual weaning off process leading to independence and self confidence. The curriculum is designed to maximize each child’s physical, intellectual, social, and emotional growth using fun-filled educational activities, within a structured routine.

The Second Steps Programme is a Preschool Programme that lays the foundation for successful higher learning abilities. The curriculum is built around a broad and balanced approach where children are encouraged to make self-directed and guided choices, work in groups as well as independently. The educational activities offered are in areas of language/communication skills, pre-reading, pre-writing and problem-solving, math, science, music and art, differentiated according to each child’s capability and level.
